I was seriously going to...

...bring this dog home.

I saved him from being crushed by two big double decker buses a couple of weeks ago while on the way to school early one morning. Running out into the road, I stopped the buses and grabbed the little guy.

Near my school there is a small complex of houses. I decided to put him way back...far from the road. I left him there. On my way back to the school I kept regretting that decision.

After school I went out to look for him. Gone.

If I ever see him again stray on the road again, he's mine. There are few moments in life where one gets a chance to do something out of the ordinary...to make snap decisions without thinking. I think I thought too much about this one. Next time, no thinking...action.

A dog I must have one day. I grew up with one for about 12 years...that's a long time for a dog.

Duane,

I probably would do the same, maybe; esp. when, and I say when, I retire, two dogs are moving in with me!

Love ya,
Mom
